Sacred montane landscapes

I’m just back to Aberdeen from the Mountains of our Future Earth conference. This happens every five years and is conducted under the stewardship of Martin Price at UHI/Perth. It was an excellent conference, though I had very little time to attend panels amongst all the conniving, hobnobbing and meetings. Our panel, on ‘Sacred Montane Landscapes and Biocultural Diversity’, went well and it was difficult to compress remarks into a single summary as the organisers had requested. We are pursuing a special journal issue and I’ll update this post as we learn more.
